We work in a complimentary fashion with banks or on a bi-lateral basis.
Private sector financing options should be explored before engaging Efic.
If banks are unwilling to support a transaction because the project is economically unviable or has poor risk allocation then that does not represent a market gap.
Our demonstration role to the private sector can also encourage the private sector to provide finance (directly or indirectly) in support of Australian exporters.
