PCT Global needed additional working capital to support the launch of its Do-It-Yourself kits with Home Depot in the U.S, the world’s largest home improvement speciality retailer.
Solution
We provided an export working capital guarantee for US$650,000, which PCT used to buy raw materials and packaging for the increased manufacturing volumes required under this agreement.
EnduroShield® is considered a market leader in Australia, with PCT distribution through commercial, residential and retail sectors.
PCT exports EnduroShield® Professional to glass manufacturers and applicators in 25 countries, with it being used on prestigious building projects around the world, including the spire on the top of the new World Trade Centre in New York.

A high-profile new contract
PCT needed additional working capital to support the launch of its Do-It-Yourself kits with Home Depot in the U.S, the world’s largest home improvement speciality retailer.
Home Depot has more than 2,200 retail stores across the United States, Canada and Mexico, selling building materials, home improvement, lawn and garden products.
This was PCT’s first experience as a supplier to Home Depot, which selected the EnduroShield® range as an innovative new product across the country.
With the additional growth that Home Depot represented,PCT’s bank, Westpac, recommended Export Finance Australia to help with the approval of the finance needed to complete this new export contract.
Westpac referred PCT to us, as it believed we would be a good partner for a contract of this kind.
How we helped

PCT’s experience with Bunnings in Australia helped when fulfilling this larger contract, which has seen the EnduroShield® brand grow worldwide.
This contract has also given PCT credibility that it is capable of fulfilling large supply and distribution contracts, and as a result has attracted interest from other large retail outlets.
