HOK Sport Architecture wins EFIC exporter award at the Premier's QLD Exporters Awards

HOK Sport Architecture has been named winner of the Small to Medium Services category of the Premier’s QLD Export Awards.  The award, announced at a gala dinner in Brisbane last night, is part of the 2008 Australian Export Awards.

Some of their recent international projects include designing a new baseball stadium in Taipei and advising on the Main Stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

In Queensland, the company designed the redevelopment of Suncorp Stadium in association with PDT Architects, and designed rugby stadium Skilled Park on the Gold Coast.

“EFIC is delighted to support the Premier’s QLD Export Awards that demonstrate the strong co-operation that exists between export organisations like EFIC, the business community and the federal government to encourage the growth of Australian exporters,” said Managing Director of EFIC, Angus Armour.

“I congratulate HOK Sport Architecture on their win.”

EFIC sponsors the Awards nationally and at a state level in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria and South Australia. The winners of each of the eight State and Territory Export Awards are being announced throughout October.

As a Queensland winner, HOK Sport Architecture becomes a finalist in the National Awards that will be announced in Canberra on 5 December.
